Up early this morning for a walk around Padstow in the fresh sea air. First, did a freeload check of our email outside the (not yet open) bank (they offer free wifi, and it runs 24/7), then strolled around the harbour. The tide was out and the boats in the outer harbour looked like toys as they sat on the sandy bottom.
After breakfast we pottered around and then wandered down to the tourist info. They were very helpful even providing a little brochure listing all the Rick Stein eateries - there is one phone number for bookings for all his places. It operates 8am to 7pm daily.
After lunch we went down to the harbour and joined the crowds enjoying the beautiful weather. There aren't as many people as yesterday but I am glad we didn' t go for one of the apartments that we had thought about, right on the harbour. However, the view would have been fantastic
